Brilliant,
That is all I can say....freakin Brilliant!!!!
John McCain talks as if he's been the underdog, but with the help of Zogby only using one poll on his website (Zogby) and the right wing constantly reiterating how close everything is, John McCain has acted as if he's the guy with all the momentum...
Obama has always played it cool waiting to announce his fundraising numbers and never showing his hand..It says alot about his leadership and discipline...
With Obama announcing his record $150 million expect the Republicans to go on a even a bigger defensive strategy in redstates this week. They have little choice...
Strategically speaking, the Republicans will have no choice but to cut their losses and go into a defenseive mode in the traditional red states where Obama (who must feel somewhat comfortable enough about his hold in the other swing states) will attempt to spread McCain's resources so thin he will have no choice but to spend money in states like Missouri, West Virginia, Montana, the Carolina's etc. where Obama shows momentum (see Pollster.com and fivethirtyeight.com)
Here's the kicker...
Florida has one of the most expensive media markets in the nation and McCain has to spend money their. It is absolutely over if Obama wins Florida or Ohio. The reason McCain has not left Pennsylvania despite being down in double digits, he realizes his strategy is limited.
If Obama can hold New Mexico, Colorado, and every state that John Kerry held in 2004, and add any other state to his column, it's over for John McCain....over. Did I mention that Obama is ahead in almost all of the traditional swing states?
I gave my largest donation to Obama in October (doubled the amount for September) and I know I'm not the only one...
This means Obama may have another $150 million dollars in his war chest!!
This means that the Republicans will have to determine if they are going to write McCain off or defend their congressional seats!!!
No wonder McCain has gone "ultra" negative. He need all the free air time he can get....
Keep donating to both Obama and the Congressional races!!
Let's drive this thing home. The GOP is going to go "Nuuuclear" as President Bush likes to say it, scratching, spitting, and swinging as they witness the fall of the GOP as we know it, within the next couple of weeks.
Fight!!!
