Here's a headline you probably didn't expect to see:
Palin Apologizes for 'Real America' Comments.
True, the Washington Post buried it on page 4, but that's ok. The message is clear. Palin Blinked. The subheading says why.
Two Congressmen Face Backlash After Their Own Remarks
One of the reps was Michelle Bachmann. After her outrageous behavior on "Hardball", her opponent, Elwyn Tinklenberg, has raised over 1 MILLION dollars and counting! Our response to the fascists got the attention of the Corrupt Bastards Club for one simple reason... money talks and bullshit walks. Palin may be vicious, but she is no fool. She can read the writing on the wall.
This news apparently hit little Ms. Pit Bull like a rolled up newspaper across the snout. Too late for them, but now they know we are serious about the way we want people to behave when they show up in our living rooms.
This brings me to the NEXT rabid right winger we need to discipline...
I'm talking about Robin Hayes, the Republicon Congressman from North Carolina. Apparently he thinks he can trash-talk and then lie about it. He's the guy who said,
"Liberals hate real Americans that work and accomplish and achieve and believe in God."
When challenged on that he straight up lied. When presented with audio of his statements he went Alberto Gonzales and claimed
"I genuinely did not recall making the statement and, after reading it, there is no doubt that it came out completely the wrong way."
Yeah. Right. That dog don't hunt. You see, Hayes spoke after Representative Patrick McHenry cheered what he called the "biggest crowd John McCain has gotten in North Carolina" and emphasized that this was a critical election with a stark choice between the candidates. That led someone in the crowd to yell out "It’s like black and white," which was met with laughter. Good thing to see "small mind values" are still openly being displayed at these events. McHenry let the remark pass and finished his speech. He was followed by Representative Robin Hayes, who prefaced his comments by saying it was important to "make sure we don’t say something stupid, make sure we don’t say something we don’t mean." THEN he launched into his vitriol.
The only thing he regrets is being caught. Well, apologies aren't good enough anymore. I say we crush them like grapes. I say we stomp them.
Let's turn North Carolina Tar Heel Blue!!!
And now we know how. Send Lawyers, Love, and Money! Let's make an example of Robin Hayes. His challenger is Larry Kissell. Kissell is making his second run at Hayes after coming within 329 votes of unseating the bastard in 2006. You can help Kissell send Hayes out to pasture. DONATE TO KISSELL VIA ACTBLUE. I'm in for $20.08 (because CHANGE MATTERS).

That is hilarious!
