With two weeks to go until the November elections, a free Conservative Christian magazine called "The Judeo-Christian View" is sending faxes to churches throughout the country accusing Barack Obama of "child sacrifice". Two versions of the faxes are being received in tandem. The first version, sent to the church pastor's attention, reads, in part:
Preach Scripture and NAME NAMES
Explain Sen. Obama’s pledges to Same-Sex Unions and Child Sacrifice:
• Repeal Defense of Marriage Act
• Enact "Sexual Orientation" Law
• Enact tax-funded Partial Birth Abortion
View an eyewitness account of his kill-off of Born Alive Infant Protection
It is only the beginning of a list of accusations which astonishingly includes "child sacrifice".
The second version is addressed to "All churchgoers, synagogue members, board members and religious laity":
Has your Pastor/Leader explained that Sen. Obama supports U.S. EXPANSION of tax-funded Partial Birth Abortion? Why is he silent? If Herod were running for King today, if your leader knew of the slaughter ahead, and recognizing that it is perfectly SAFE and LEGAL to speak out in the USA... Would he or she say even one word? Has your Shepherd seen and relayed the EYEWITNESS VIDEO ACCOUNT regarding Obama and the killing of infant abortion survivors in Illinois? How, in Heaven’s name, can pulpit silence on this possibly be rationalized?
The text goes on to ask 'Is "Reverse Racism" or "White Guilt" inspiring shameful pulpit silence on the Torah, Tanakh and New Testament issues of Same-Sex Unions and Child Sacrifice?'
The group's web site address is provided. It features the following YouTube video in order to explain and support their claim vis-a-vis "child sacrifice".
The nurse in the video is Jill Stanek. She has been featured at least twice on Fox News together with "reporters" urgent calls for public outrage.
While Ms. Stanek's description of "induced labor abortion" at the hospital at which she works is genuine and heart wrenching, her claim that Obama is the architect of the proceedure and the conditions surrounding it at her hospital is standard Fox-style packaging. It is based upon Obama's 1991 Judiciary Committee choice, while an Illinois State Senator, to vote "present" on a motion to bring bill SB1095 to the floor. His stated reason was that he felt the bill went beyond humanitarian treatment of non-viable foetuses, the which he could only approve, to an attack on the legality of abortion.
The "child sacrifice" claim also appears on the groups web site, upon which appears the following Biblical verse: "Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your G_d. I am the LORD." It seems that Barack Obama is accused of sacrificing children to Moloch.
