In Survey USA's previous poll of the Hoosier state, John McCain led Barack Obama by 3 points; 48%/45%. That poll, conducted at the end of September, is now obsolete as Barack Obama gains huge momentum in Indiana. Today, Survey USA says that Obama has seized the lead; 49%-45%. That's a seven point swing.
Earlier in the week, Public Policy Polling said Barack Obama was up by 2; 48%/46%.
Of course, there is also the infamous Big Ten poll that has Barack Obama up 10, 51%/41%. In mid-September, they had John McCain up 4; 47%/43%, representing a massive 14 point swing.
To sum it up, the past 3 Indiana polls, all from this week, have Barack Obama up by 2/4/10 for an average lead of 5.3%.
