John McCain
It seems John McCain is getting a bit fruity on the campaign, warning of a dangerous threesome.
Well I did imagine Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraman and Sarah Palin, and lost my sight for three hours, so that will teach me.
We have already had a terrible threesome, Bush, Frist and Hastert, but I didn't hear McCain complain.
Winning the House, Senate and White House, is an historic opportunity to really make a difference, and I hope Democrats don't blow it. This journey started four years ago with Howard Dean, because he put a backbone and fire into the Democrat party. People like Chuck Schumer and Rahn Emanuel pushed back the idea of a 50 state strategy, but it never stopped them from reaping the benefits.
When The GOP controlled all three branches of government between 2002 and 2006, as part of the trifecta, Bill Frist played around with the Filibuster card, threatening to go nuclear, and in someways, Democrats may regret him not doing so, because if we fail with the magic sixty, the GOP is going to make Barack Obama's life hell.
Republicans are mean amongst each other, and will no problem, frustrating any senate nominations, espically if the Attorney General is a controversial pick. I know Joe Lieberman won't jump ship because he is already worried about a Obama presidency, and starting to play nice.
We are in the dying days of the McCain campaign, the lights are on, but no one is at home. John invokes Karl Marx, but runs a campaign along the lines of Harpo Marx.
