After digging into the intertubes, i came up with more than just what has been diaried on about Caribou Barbie. Something i know that people like Dick(less) Morris and Sean Hannity would call "code words" if they were spoken by Democrats or Union Organizers.
Socialism seems to be the topic of the day with the McSame campaign and who better to talk about it than Sarah Marx herself. First let me link you to the people who basically turned me on to this safari of quote hunting.
First of course in the main stream was our guy Keith Olbermann with his "campaign comment" tonight. Then of course you have the various websites that broke this as early as sept.3rd.
Thinking Meat , with a back and forth posting with a right wing blog about this issue, then also too such that the New York Observer posted the following on oct 20.
But wait. If this is Palin's definition of socialism -- taking more from business and redistributing "according to a politician's priorities" -- then isn't she herself guilty of running a socialist government in Alaska? After all, she is the same Governor Palin who in 2007 pushed a gigantic increase in the state's oil profits tax through a Republican-dominated legislature, a move that brought in $6 billion in new revenue.
And what was done with that money? Well, as the Seattle Times put it (before Palin emerged as a national figure), "While many other states are confronting big budget deficits because of the troubled economy, Alaska officials are in the enviable position of exploring new ways to spend the state's multibillion-dollar budget surplus."
In other words, the extra money that Palin took from businesses was spent according to the priorities of Palin and other Alaska politicians. Isn't this exactly what she's accusing Obama of wanting to do? Here's a clip a Palin bragging about her windfall profits tax, again, from before she landed on the national ticket
Now one thing, if anyone knows how to get a full transcript of that interview let me know. I went ahead and requested one from PBS NOW through their website (im talking about the one in the link in the blockquote) right as they cut it off on the youtube video they are about to get to the quote that would be a great gotcha soundbyte.
Anyway back to the trip down the intertubes. Well i did some more googling and found a nice article (through the Governor's office no less) where Ms Palin said the following.....
"In case there is any question on where we stand, let me be clear - PPT doesn’t work as promised," said Governor Palin. "There are those who would say we should do nothing and that we should continue the PPT experiment. Doing nothing is not an option. This clearer, equitable plan fulfills our state constitution mandate that says I’m to develop our resources for the maximum benefit of all Alaskans."
Now i know a lot of you are like me and have worked a union job, and if i were to dig up all the things that are said about union members, i would probably be greeted by a host of republicans calling union members socialists. Well i bet Todd wrote that line because when we went on strike at Dunlop in 1997 our marching orders were to tell the press (if asked) "All we want is a fair and equitable contract" Well what is the name of her proposal? ACES... Alaska's Clear and Equitable Share
The goal is to increase revenues from what the governor called the state’s "very, very valuable non-renewable resource." That resource is being sold "at a premium," Palin said Sept. 4 at an introduction of the administration’s new tax proposal. "And we’d love to receive appropriate value for our oil: We need a clear and equitable share."

So Ms Palin has more that socialist comments, she has evidently pandered to the AIP in some of the speeches she gave as governor also. I seriously think this quote DEMANDS the media ask her the tough question soncerning AIP
"Getting fair value for our known resource is the only way we can be self-sustaining and less reliant upon the federal government," Palin said in her address.

In short im still looking for more, but there is a lot out there so jump in and help us get this out there in the news cycle!
UPDATE!! The governor's own news archive is the gift that keeps on giving....Which Sarah Palin do we believe? The one that belittles community activists or names bridges after them? Frackin flip flopper
August 8, 2008, Nenana, Alaska – Governor Sarah Palin today honored the late Shirley A. Demientieff during a ceremonial signing of Senate Bill 158. Sponsored by Senator Albert Kookesh, the bill names the small bridge across a portion of the Tanana River in Nenana in Demientieff’s honor.
A well-known and well-loved community activist and Native leader, Demientieff died January 3, 2007, after a battle with cancer. She served on the boards of Doyon Limited, Interior Alaska’s Native regional corporation, the Fairbanks Native Association, and the Tanana Chiefs Conference’s Health Board.
It is so appropriate to name this bridge in Shirley’s memory, as she truly lived her life as a bridge – between cultures, between young and old, between rural and urban communities – and because she so often served as a bridge helping those in need move from despair to hope," Governor Palin said.
