As the hour quickly approaches when the polls all over this nation will open, I want to take the time to reflect on all that we have done, we; our amazingly powerful grassroots movement of volunteers, the ground army of young and old, black and white, rich and poor....
I had the pleasure of meeting Senator Obama and the great honor of shaking his hand. He came to Harrisburg twice, once in March and then again in April. I also had the pleasure of meeting the kind-hearted, handsome, and extremely smart love of my life, Frangstration, at the Harrisburg St. Patty's Day Parade as we marched in support of Senator Barack Obama.
As we sit here together tonight, each on our respective laptops, both of us on Kos, talking across the kitchen while watching Rachel Maddow... my stomach is wrenching; I am excited and nervous and hopeful about tomorrow.
I figured I would have a look at all my pictures from the parade, from the Town Hall Meeting with Senator Obama and from the Rally on the Capitol steps in Harrisburg. I hope that after tonight, and after many years down the road, I will be able to look back on these pictures and remember how our efforts helped get Obama elected the 44th President of the United States of America. How we changed the face of this great nation.
I want to personally thank each and every one of you, our phenomenal staff of volunteers who have made calls, made donations, walked miles upon miles knocking on doors talking to our neighbors to GOTV in this tremendously important election. This is our year. This is our time.
I hope you enjoy the pics below the fold, just as much as I have enjoyed following and being a part of this campaign.
Many thanks and sincere gratitude to all of you, from the bottom of my liberal heart.

My mother and I, with former Senator Harris Wofford
Right after I shook his hand!
And the pants that reeled him in ;)
And finally, the Rally on the Capitol steps on 19 April, 2008.
Dedication: I was first in line.
YES. WE. CAN.
