I was a bit apprhensive this morning about my first electronic voting experience but I have to see it was pretty easy and as intuitive as you can get!
Why can't all voting booths across our country use this type of voting machine?
See below for the video.
Although it wasn't a computer touchscreen, it did the job in an efficient, electronic way. As soon as I pressed on a numbered square next to candidate's name, a green-lighted X would appear adjacently to the left. This experience was way too easy, gratifying and assuring.
With all the irregularities going on in West Virginia and other critical states about the voting booth touchscreens regarding calibrations, short proximity between candidate names and complete lack of an audit trail, it would be ideal to choose a simpler electronic voting apparatus like the one I just voted on.
