Thank you, Thank you, Thank You! I was one of those folks who wasn't sure about President-elect Obama. I voted for him in the Florida primary, but it was a last minute decision. I was swayed by much of what I read here. I still admire and respect the Clintons for everything they've done for us. By February I was solidly behind him, but living in the south and knowing something about hate and prejudice, I was still very worried.
The hard work and effort of all the people who contribute to this blog is awe inspiring. And the work you all have done lead directly to the success that we see touted across every newspaper in the world this morning.
Barack Obama is a great man, and I believe he is the right man in the right place. I have high hopes he will revitalize this nation.
I also know that everyone who is a part of the phenomenon known as the Daily Kos will wake up this morning with a renewed commitment to a single goal: to make America a guiding light of hope for every living thing on Earth.
I hope folks will use their comments to give a special thanks to diary writers who have inspired them.
Thank You - Kos, Markos, Meteor Blades, Grannydoc and everyone else!
