Dear Keith: we are thrilled to hear of year contract extension with MSNBC. Your show may be the only "Must See TV" left in NBC family. I, like many of your viewers, wish you nothing but the best as you continue to expose the right wing for what they are. But, he who is given much, much is expected in return.
I'm taking about your colleague, Joe Scarborough. Yeah, the guy who said the f-bomb today. It's time, Keith, to call out this lightweight for being what he is, a lightweight. I know he's a colleague and fellow employee, but like I said, it's time to go 'rogue.'
Scarborough has said as many laughable things as any other wing nut out there. He, however, gets away with it. Aside from you, Keith, who is going to challenge him on his baffoonery? Today, for example, he called the 2004 re-election of George Bush a "good deal" for the voters because we were scared, and well, we haven't been hit since 9/11 have we? Just who on that show is going to call him on it that kind of lame, recycled talking point? Mika? Don't think so. Geist? Hardly? Barnicle? He's lucky to be working. So, it's up to you, Keith. Go off the reservation, challenge the powers that be at your network. Throw caution to the wind. Embarrass this wanna be.
I know it will not stop, but maybe if he knows someone is watching him, waiting to challenge any crazy assertion he makes, maybe he'll begin to temper his hyperbole. It's up to you, Keith.
