We're a 30-something couple with 2 young girls who have found ourselves, as so many others have, needing to suddenly uproot ourselves and move for work in these difficult times.
And circumstances have converged to make Atlanta our destination, a city I know nothing about and about which we are quite apprehensive.
Thanking you in advance, with more over the fold:
+We are a modest, one-car family looking for a walkable, livable and affordable neighborhood in the city, preferably with some strong liberal leanings. (Do such places exist?)
+And public school. Is it an area where the public schools are good? Are they good in the city?
+We are also strongly Jewish, and hope to find an area with a vibrant Jewish community as well.
Anything any of you can do to help direct our search will be tremendously helpful. This is coming suddenly for us, and the stress of trying to figure out where to move is a bit overwhelming.
Thanks to everyone in advance!
