Okay, I'm not sure how many of you were up in the wee hours last night for Attorney At Arms diary describing a terribly anti-Semitic article posted by one Jeff Gates on Huffington Post, but those who were are probably interested in the reaction of Huffington Post's administration.
Though Mr. Gates' article did not mention Israel except to use "eligible for Israeli citizenship" as a euphemism for "Jew," he nevertheless has used the now common tactic among anti-Semites of pretending their anti-Semitism is merely opposition to Israel.
Anyway, as someone who writes for the site, I was rather upset, and wrote to my editors to complain.
Text of the e-mail and their response below (as I promised to post it here).
I'm highly disturbed that a site I write for would publish something that seems cut entirely from Henry Ford's The Interntional (sic) Jew.

Ending (the whole thing is like this):
As in Russia, both the advisers and the new owners qualify for Israeli citizenship. Summers had a hand in both bailouts. As President-elect Obama scrambles to stabilize the financial system, will his pledge of clarity and transparency include an account of how -- and by whom -- he was advised to capitalize a transnational Ashkenazi oligarchy?
I would urge you to immediately delete it.
Their response:
Jacob, thanks for pointing this out, not sure why this got published.
The article in question has now been deleted
Long story short, The Huffington Post didn't intentionally post the anti-Semitic tripe and deleted it upon being informed of it.
