Two of the 3 most important Democratic Party politicians of the the past twenty years have been elected
president--Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. The third one, Howard Dean, continues to get no respect in his own party.
According to a story up on Political Wire:
Dean Jokes About Not Getting Rahm's Job
In a forthcoming interview, DNC Chairman Howard Dean noted that Rep. Rahm Emanuel wasn't an early fan of his 50-state strategy, which helped put Barack Obama in the White House.
When asked if he felt vindicated, Dean said, "Rahm ended up as chief of staff to Barack Obama, so I don't feel too vindicated."
He added, "I might have been right but I'd rather be chief of staff."

Thank you Chairman Dean for all you did from 2003 thru 2008 to make the Democratic Party live up to
some pretense of progressivism. And thanks for giving the party a spine transplant--one that some
took advantage of and others didn't. Thanks for the 50 state strategy when the Carville's and Emanuel's
were laughing at you. Oh yeah, and thanks for opposing that war back in 2002 when Rahm was cheerleading Bush's war in the House. Has that slimeball ever apologized?
We know he hasn't said anything publicly except for "jokes" like these, but we know how he really feels.
I guess Chairman Dean was too obvious in his pro-Obama primary fight bias....next time oppose Obama and he will treat you like a true RIVAL and give you a plum job in the team of RIVALS.
