The disparity between labor and executive pay has gotten way "out-of-whack". In addition to repealing the Bush tax cuts for the rich, put a new tax on corporations that allow total compensation of key employees to get above $2 million. Currently, corporations can deduct the cost of payroll. Take that deduction away for high compensated employees and add a tax equal to the compensation. In addition to that, make it mandatory for annual stockholder meetings to vote executive pay by allowing only non-executive stock to vote for their pay.

CEOs and their executive buddies have the power to give themselves big salaries but continue to outsource or cut labor costs by hiring low paid immigrants. We need to push corporations to provide living wages to all employees, but the high salaries they pay themselves is obscene. Go to Change.org and vote your conscience.
