in the upcoming election, they should say not only is the Republican party of Lincoln no more; but, the Republican part of even Reagan is no more.
No longer do they hold to Reagan's belief that 'government isn't the solution, government's the problemm'. . . . instead, the Republicans want an intrusive federal government governing every aspect of your lives . . . from how you worship your god, to what you read at the libraries, to what to do with your bodies, to whom you marry, and now finally to how you die.
I think a line like that could play very well in the "red states", and to disaffected Reagan Democrats.
