I Like 98% of Hillary Clinton's Voters

Hillary Clinton is tough, resilient, highly intelligent and has done a terrific job of raising her daughter. She is an accomplished attorney, served as First Lady for eight years and is now in her eighth year in the Senate. I generally agree with 80-85% of her views.
While the Clintons implemented certain policies that had a deleterious effect on America (Nafta, Welfare Regression, media sellout) and didn't do enough in many other areas (Restoring JFK tax rates, ending corporatized medicine) the Clinton administration did do many good things for America. While Obama will be a far better president than Bill Clinton, make no mistake that Bill Clinton was a far better President than any Republican who has served in that office since Teddy Roosevelt.
Given this background I can understand why millions of people would believe that Hillary Clinton would be a good choice for President. On paper, she is. I could also understand why people would be excited about the possibility of the first female President. The fact that this country has never had a female, African American, Hispanic, Asian, or Jewish President is shameful and I hope that in the 21st century, many of those years will see a progressive woman as President of the United States. If you could guarantee me 84 straight years of female progressive women being President of the United States, I'd sign on right now.
To the 98 percent of Hillary voters, understand that the vast majority of Obama voters and you are SIMILAR. We share similar views on foreign policy, the economy, health care, the environment, education, civil liberties, and all other major issues of the day. This is not personal. We respect your right to simply believe that Obama and Clinton are two excellent candidates for President and that you feel, and rightly so that Hillary is the better of the two choices while simultaneously recognizing that either of the Democrats are millions of times better qualified to serve in the White House than Bush sycophant John 100 Years McCain.
You have heard about many criticisms of Hillary Clinton coming from other Democrats. For transparency purposes, some of those criticisms have come from me. I want to tell you about some of those criticisms, what they are and more importantly what they are not.
In a nutshell, most of us believe that Hillary Clinton's views on 80-85% of the issues are admirable. What we dislike are what we believe to be her immoral tactics, her shameless pandering, her constant lying, her do anything to win at all costs mentality, her poor judgment in who she has surrounded herself to run her campaign, and her lack of moral character. Keep in mind that these dislikes of Hillary have NOTHING to do with the people who have voted for her or will vote for her in the upcoming primaries. We respect 98% of Hillary's voters and look forward to working with you toward building a Democratic supermajority (290 House seats, 67 Senate Seats, and the White House) that will effectively end right wing extremism in this country.
