From the Rachel Maddow Show: McCain gave an interview in Arizona for the Daily Star. Among the laundry list of his priorities, there's this gem:
He sides with Bush on teaching Intelligent Design in public schools.
The article below is quite interesting recap. McCain has a 50+% approval among republicans, supposedly shares the most popular republican badge with Guiliani. But his death knell are the conservatives where his approval ratings are horrible.
Guess that Virginia Beach speech he gave in 2000 flushed his chances down the toilet...

It was a feeble attempt at stopping the American Taliban knocking at the door.
But anywhoozle, this latest attempt to pander to the neo-con religious right on such a patently RIDICULOUS issue as evolution, on top of his litany of sins aligning himself with Bush on every wrong issue...McCain's chances for bipartisan support in a Presidential run are DOA. Who wants to stomach another Pat Robertson/Terry Randall candidate?
