Looks like KY AG Ben Chandler
will run in Kentucky's 6th district special election to replace the man who defeated him last month in the gubernatorial election. (Fletcher, KY's new gov., has to step down from the House as soon as he assumes his new office.)
A lot of us here respected Chandler for going after Bush in what is a very red state. Of course, it didn't wind up working, so it will be interesting to see what tactics he takes now. I'd like to see Dean shoot some money his way (and Herseth's, too). Chandler has to get a website up and running pronto, though. The special election will be held in February.
