Once again GM has launched their "Employee Pricing Sale" which, this time around has me particularly irritated given the way that GM has driven their company into the bailout ditch.
Maybe they were out to save some ad dollars by simply recycling one of their old already paid for campaigns, but the idea of a consumer actually WANTING to be treated like one of GM's employees seems especially ludicrous at the moment. Granted that the employees (and their union) are partially responsible for much of the trouble that Detroit is currently in, I still find myself scratching my head that anyone at GM could be so stupid as to launch this campaign right now.
And since we, the American People, are in effect becoming the new owners of GM, wouldn't it have been more honest of them to have launched a "Taxpayer's Price" Sale?
