I am serious. I was watching Hardball and flipped when Chris was going to do a segment on Burris. I live in Illinois.
Anyway, I came across a discussion panel for the BBC that was in Washington and had among others: Grover Norquist, Elanor Holmes Norton, Susan Eisnehower, some guy I don't know and Richard Perle.

UPDATE: I forgot to tell you that one audience member asked Perle if he expected to be tried for war crimes. lol.
I did not know how much I missed but it was a discussion with the audience asking questions on the upcoming Obama presidency and all the serious problems left to him to fix.
A very interesting program with the audience, made up of average people, asking some very in depth and serious questions.
When the program was over I went to the BBC site to listen to any of the parts I may have missed.
I missed the intros and when they introduced Richard Perle he said he was part of that very small minority of the Scoop Jackson wing of the democratic party.
I thought I misheard and played it back and that is what he said.
This man is a republican neocon.
He was part of PNAC and the Iraq war lies.
I know the man is trying to run from his past and disavow the neocons and that he was ever part of them but, come on. A democrat??????????
OMG!
Who next? Kristol?? Rumsfield and Cheney????
Sorry diary is short but, this was something I thought was too important to not put in a diary.
