First Diary
While listening to George Bush's final press conference. It finally struck me why he sounds so uneducated and according to Bush's own admission that he doesn't watch or listen to anything on the TV or in the Media very often, whether it is good or bad.
It is too bad, as he could learn a lot about himself and what is actually happening in our country.
I'm amazed (but shouldn't be) that he hasn't realized and does NOT comprehend the depth, width, breath and VOLUMES of facts and evidence that are available to the public to sort through. Hopefully we will have even more in years to come.
Evidence and facts that contradict almost 100% of what he is muttering/claiming, while trying to re-write his Presidential BLUNDERNESS!
The DOTS are brought up once again while Bush is talking with Larry on Larry King Live.
More darn dots below the fold...
Do you remember what it was like right after September the 11th around here? In press conferences, in opinion pieces and in stories that sometimes were news stories and sometimes opinion pieces, people were saying, "How come they didn't see it? How come they didn't connect the dots?"
Does he not even begin to comprehend that we WERE screaming why they didn't CONNECT most all of the damn DOTS in advance of the terroristic acts?
President Bush was told more than a month before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, that supporters of Osama bin Laden planned an attack within the United States with explosives and wanted to hijack airplanes.
Apparently Bush wasn't playing Connect the Dots in the correct manner and instead was more interesting playing Battleship!
Now Bush sits there and states that AFTER 9/11 happened when Bush and Cheney start:
putting, you know, policy/tools in place -- legal policy in place to connect the dots, and all the sudden, people were saying, "How come you're connecting the dots?"
Bush doesn't even understand that we weren't talking about Intelligence DOTS. (illegal wire-taping, torture, constitution realignment ....the list goes on)
Well we were sort of but, instead it felt like he jumped in and started connecting the WRONG DOTS...many were left wondering and questioning how Bush was Connecting the Dots between 9/11, Saddam, WMD, Iraq, + al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, terrorist = A 600+ Billion Dollar WAR worth of Dots being connected incorrectly!
The interesting thing about this job, by the way, is it's one thing to deal with the expected -- you know, what you anticipate. The real challenge is to be in a position to deal with the unexpected.
We know Bush doesn't "deal" with the expected and instead chooses rather to ignore it!
Apparently it's a challenge for Bush & Co. to anticipate the resulting destruction & chaos, when the President & Co. fail to react, to the expected!
"Well, first of all, hard things don't happen overnight"
Hard things DO happen during the night, as many here can attest to!
Many here also realize that Bad things don't usually happen overnight. They take many months and years to develop and come to fruitation.
Usually things such as these are spotted, uncovered, revealed and the necessary steps are taken to prevent them from happening or to lesson the impact.
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. military's first and only study looking into ties between Saddam Hussein's Iraq and al Qaeda showed no connection between the two, according to a military report released by the Pentagon.
Moreover, President Bush was apparently briefed (Aug 6, 2001) that "a group of bin Laden supporters were planning attacks in the U.S. with explosives." Surely someone could have connected the dots: Explosives, airplanes, buildings.
The head cashier at Wal-Mart could have figured out this Encrypted Puzzle!
"Mr. Bush, Please come to Customer Service located in the front of the store, we have figured it out!"
And -- and in times of war, people get emotional. I understand that. I've never really, you know, spent that much time, frankly, worrying about the loud voices.
Is he talking about the loud voices in his head?
