For the very few of you who read my diaries (tone down the snark dear) might know my partner Marie-Louise is an MSF volunteer and has been posted to South Africa.
"Fine, fine its no wonder you are cranky", OK, you got me, however I usually sleep like a log (sometimes I post like one, think first, riiiight). Now I find myself awake most of the night in a foul mood looking for a food fight on a blog, and way too tired to know or care what I am writing about [although I appear not to be alone in this sometimes].
Well I have found the reason, Clean Sheets.
That's right, you heard what I wrote...whoa.. heard...wrote? Oh dear, here we go below the break.
Well I deduced what it is whilst fiddling with the vaporiser on my perfume bottle, of course, then I remembered this:
Scientists studying how sleep affects memory have found that the whiff of a familiar scent can help a slumbering brain better remember things that it learned the evening before. A rose bouquet — delivered to people’s nostrils as they studied and, later, as they slept — improved their performance on a memory test by almost 15 percent.

What I was missing was smell!
Clean sheets smell of something that is not even close to what is written on the bottle, hmmm, citrus....in a pigs ear.
Right so what do I do? I sprayed some of her perfume on the bed. What happens? Nada, there I was at 3am with our psychotic cat looking at the moon [actually Minou was calm, it was me plucking the carpet].
Damn I should have known, there would be something else;
•Each perfume smells differently on each person. The reason is the difference in age, body chemistry and diet
of different people. PH levels (amount of acidity in our skin) also vary slightly from person to person. Our individual levels of PH will determine how each ingredient in a perfume will react.
•In addition, fragrance consists of many essential oils. Certain essential oils have affinity to our skin, and they may be absorbed while others may not. This creates an imbalance on the skin and accounts for the difference.

****, I suppose she wouldn't mind sending some skin back for........nonononono gross.
I have done the washing and ironing, damn, I do have so much free time, however, shame its all been ironed into little squares.
Hmmmmmm.?
Anyone need some ironing done? After all squares are so easy to arrange in any filing system......I mean drawer.

I wonder if Cato.org can send me into a soporific stupor as usual? No! Rats.... its just annoyed me now. Even the Huffington Post comment sections are not working.
Right, just have to sit and wait for the rapture I suppose.
