It is interesting to listen to the GOP talking points when they oppose the stimulus for the economy. Obama holds bipartisan talks invoking tax cuts within it's context but the GOP will go to the old playbook of obstuction in order to stop Obama and the Democrats of any progress. When the Bush stimulus plan passed I didn't hear the "concern" or rhetoric we are suddenly hearing from the right when the Democrats allowed it to pass and the 350 billion dollars vanished into thin air. Now the GOP suddenly has found some soul and gone back to the "conservative" double speak when we just spent the last 8 years spending like drunk sailors on a night out in the town....
Obama needs to crack the whip on these turds and strong arm the Republicans. Unfortunately for us we have spineless Harry Reid as leader of the Senate. I expect him to tuck his tail between his legs and bow down to the GOP as if they have were the party that has won the last two elections. If the Republicans want to play hardball, Obama needs to use his political capital (real politcal capital) now!! before they wittle with side shows and diversion.
