Is it me, or is Campbell Brown a twit who has lost her way in the fast paced cable melee? Her latest rant, 27 hours into the new presidency, is that Obama is a hypocrite. And how did the wife of Dan Senor (major Bush stooge/Fox contributor) come to this deep insight, because Obama, maybe the first time a president has done this, announced that he would try and allow the Treasury Secretary to hire, as an aide, a former lobbyist by using a waiver to the new celebrated rules. There is also Lynn who use to lobby for Raytheon.
On one hand you can yell and scream about TWO guys. Or Campbell can relish in the fact Obama is asking for a waiver. Can you see Bush now - asking for a waiver? No one asked anything for the last 8 years...it was simply shoved down our throat.
CNN should be ashamed. Campbell Brown, who is trying to channel Dobbs, has been running this shyte up the flag pole for too long. No one of consequence has snapped a towel on her. I guess they feel like they have something "hot" because she looks better than a bus and is married to Dan Senor. Now there's a peach. Our boy Dan:
In September 2004, the White House controversially employed Senor to coach and ghostwrite the speeches of Iraq's interim prime minister Iyad Allawi during his visit to the US, in an effort to enhance the Bush reelection campaign. At the same time, Senor appeared on cable news programs asserting that Allawi's positive remarks (vetted by him) supported the Bush Administration's rosy view of the Iraqi occupation.
Taking a bad page from Dan Senor's book, I guess Campbell wants to make sure any talent, who use to be a lobbyist, is kept out of helping the administration. Wouldn't it just make more sense to announce who the former lobbyists are and to ask for a very public waiver. I guess if it was up to Brown, and Senor, they would de-Bath, like they did in Iraq, any of the possible lobbyists. It worked like a dream NOT in Iraq.
We should marvel at the transparent nature of the appointments. Yes, there will be flaws and conflicts. Yet, at least we see what is happening. We aren't going to learn, in the midst of crisis, that Obama hired a guy named Brown, a former horse show director, to handle one of our biggest natural disasters.
I wish they would send this twit to Fox or to work for Senor in his latest scheme. No Bull, No Bias. You can call it a "tower of gold" the show is still just a bunch of half baked crap faxed to her by Fox/Senor.
