Lots of us are probably readers of Josh Marshall's fine Talking Points Memo.
Last night, this site reported that:
U.S. Attorney Scandal: Feds Probe Domenici for Obstruction of Justice In Iglesias Firing
By Murray Waas - February 4, 2009, 5:14PM
With the first paragraph reading:
A federal grand jury probe of the firings of nine U.S. attorneys during the Bush administration is focusing on the role played by recently retired Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM) and former senior Bush White House aides in the 2006 dismissal of David Iglesias as U.S. attorney for New Mexico, according to legal sources familiar with the inquiry.

I'm not posting this because I think you haven't heard of it.
I'm posting because I'm not sure that anyone else has.
Take a look at Google News. At 8:35 am PST, there were a total of 37 search listings for "David Iglesias."
Only THREE of these relate to the news story, two from the same source (other than TPM). They are from: (beneath the fold)
The New Mexico Independent (twice, one from last night, one -- the upper one, a short update -- from today)

Think Progress DC (in the update only, after reporting on the Campbell Brown/Gonzales interview)

According to Haas, this could be the Straw That Breaks the Elephant's Back.
The investigation, led by Nora Dannehy, who as acting U.S. attorney in CT was appointed by Mukasey, could involve Rove, Kyle Sampson, Heather Wilson, and Gonzales.
How come it doesn't seem to be getting much play in the news?
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
