What I'm hearing from my friends in my old office on the Hill is that the Rush Limbaugh dittoheads are tying up the phone lines to Congress. They've been making 100 calls for every single call that we make.
We can't let them shut our voices down. PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS RIGHT NOW AND E-MAIL THEM TOO.
Over 598,000 jobs were LOST IN JANUARY! That just pushed the unemployment rate to 7.8%. Over half a million Americans lost their jobs in one month. What will happen this month? How many more if this stimulus doesn't pass? HOW many more?
If you can't get through your Senator's main office on the phone and the line is busy, then look up the office locations on your Senator's webpage, and call these local phone numbers of the offices.
The staffers there will take down your phone message and e-mail or fax it to the main office in Washington, D.C., where they keep a running tally of all the incoming correspondence by calls, e-mails, AND faxes.
TELL THEM NO TO THE NELSON-COLLINS CUTS TO EDUCATION, AND INSIST ON THE HOUSE VERSION OF HEALTH CARE BENEFITS FOR THE UNEMPLOYED IN THE CONFERENCE PACKAGE.
TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT THEM TO SUPPORT THE STIMULUS BILL.
TELL THEM THAT OVER 598,000 JOBS WERE LOST LAST MONTH. ASK THEM HOW MANY MORE WILL BE LOST IF THEY DON'T SUPPORT THE STIMULUS.
TELL THEM TO SUPPORT PRESIDENT OBAMA AND TO PASS THE SENATE STIMULUS BILL WITH NO CUTS TO SPECIAL EDUCATION, SCIENCE, AND MASS TRANSIT!
C'mon, Kossacks, let's beat the dittoheads today and force these quisling Senators to pass the Senate stimulus bill today!
Listen to President Obama and help him get this stimulus bill passed! CALL BEN NELSON AND TELL HIM TO BACK OFF ON THE CUTS!
Thanks (1+ / 0-)
I got through. According to the assistant, after receiving hundreds of calls, I was the first one in favor of the stimulus bill.
