I was wrong.  The MediaNews trial only goes through their custom printer.  How stupid is that?  I can already choose what traditional and non-traditional media I want to read using google news, rss feeds, etc.

The ACLU lawsuit against Weld county DA Ken Buck began today.

Pat Waak was reelected at yesterday's Colorado Democratic party re-org meeting

Is it me or is the fake Gunny Bob going to lose it soon:

Newman asserted that "absolute despotism [could] take place within four years" and stated that many people are "rightfully" worried "[h]ow we're gonna survive the Obamanista regime" and "[w]hether the Constitution will survive."

After asking what "other options" aside from revolution "we have in preventing him from installing his utopian socialist state," Newman answered his own question by stating, "We have some tools, gang. We have the ballot box."

Wait, if I didn't know better, we just went to the ballot box, and his kind lost big.

You would think Mike Coffman's ethics hearing is over the way Vince Carroll writes about it. He also seems to think it's Ethics Watch on trial.  But then, why not try to impeach the accuser and get some columnists to do it too?  That and all the delay tactics are typical tactics of the guilty.  Colorado Media Matters has more on Vince.

I guess hell has frozen over.  Look at this title in the gazette of all papers, "Public's not buying what Republicans are selling"

The city of Grand Junction is implementing $2 Million worth of energy saving projects.

The downturn in the oil and gas development is hurting other area of the economy.  Why do oil and gas developers hate America? Even Halliburton is laying off.

Exxon Mobil is going to ramp up gas production.  But, I thought those oil and gas regs were going to rue the day?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
