Reading about the stuffed moose someone had found at a garage sale made me want to share that of my stuffed raccoon.
Twice a month there's a "Store of Hope" held by our local YWCA. The first time I went there, two weeks ago, was when I found the raccoon. He's big, soft, cuddly, looks brand-new as if the previous owner had just bought him, and best of all was free--as is everything else at the Store of Hope. (I also found a book of the letters of a Georgian family during the Civil War and an oversized T-shirt, and they were handing out bags of food and snacks.)
His current home is my living room couch, and Lucky likes to sleep next to him. Unfortunately since I've no camera I don't have pics, so in lieu of one of my raccoon there's this:
Though mine's a medium brown and looks much cuter.
Enough about my raccoon--now for some live critters!
The next cat looks like Lucky:
And last but not least this one knows how to relax on a quiet Sunday afternoon:
Hope your Sunday afternoon's as quiet and relaxing as is this pootie's!
