Fitness Monday is a group-hosted fitness-oriented diary series. We are all amateurs, AFAIK. So, check with your own physician first.
Goals:
Having goals helps us know where we're going and how our progress is. Fitness is no different. Pick out a goal: a skill you want to acquire; an event for which you can train. Or more general: taking care of your heart or losing weight.
Fitness Plans
Should always include: cardio, strength, and flexibility.
Fitting it In:
When do you exercise? So many of us have busy lives. And there are all of those unscheduled interruptions and unexpected events.
Fitting in a short walk here and there during the day is perfectly legitimate! A little exercise is better than none at all. Flexibility can be sprinkled throughout the day too.

Of course, yoga is great for that combination of strength and flexibility. And it's not bad for your mind.
