The unemployment level has passed levels projected created/saved by the first StimBill.
Parks, highways, schools, and homeless shelters need maintenance. It's time to hire unemployed people to clean, paint and refurbish these facilities under supervision of local maintenance staff. The paint and supplies can be purchased locally from non-chain businesses if possible, so local businesses get sales.
Local purchase of camping supplies and cellphones should be vouchered to people who are hired and a small amount deducted from their paychecks.
Homeless children should be offered breakfast and lunch at their schools and a take home dinner for them and their parents. If the parents have multiple children extra dinners should be distributed to other hungry people by their parents.
ALL parents get stipends paid weekly for each school day attended and a family bonus for 'A's and 'B's paid equally to ALL parents and ALL children.
"Bushvilles" should get temporary toilets, showers and clean water from local companies using local hires providing services including charging cellphones.
Time to stop playing 'pretend' about the homeless.
