In some good news the NH House narrowly passed a law (186-179) to allow same sex marriages in the state. The measure no moves onto the Senate. However beside the Senate hurdle there still is the issue of Democratic Governor John Lynch who has stated he is against the measure.
Lynches excuse for not being in favor:
“The civil unions bill he signed into law prevents discrimination and provides the same legal protections to all New Hampshire families to the extent that is possible under federal law."
And on the stupid side:
Rep. Laura Gandia, R-Litchfield, warned it will make children of this and future generations “guinea pigs in a massive social experiment that is irreversible.”
And then there is Johnny Sununu who stated:
"another attempt by the liberal Democrats in the Legislature to impose their San Francisco agenda on the State of New Hampshire."

Folks if you live in NH get to work on the Governor and your State Senators let's make this a reality.
