Nice new ad campaign from Environmental Defense that links limiting carbon to positive impact on the economy ..

Take a look and share these ads -- the more we get the message out that taking action on carbon is good for the economy, the better.
commentary after the fold ...
Some of my favorite things about these ads:
The real people and places they feature -- the imagery is as stark and powerful as some of the great depression era photographers.
Fetterman, mayor of small town in PA and on Colbert recently -- this guy is just such a solid, middle America, hard scrabble kind of guy and he totally gets why progressive policies benefit his town and his people.
The tone -- these ads just take the whole issue of a carbon cap out of the airy, fairy things that are nice category and shows that we're talking about stuff that helps with the hard core, real problems we face.
Building alternative energy infrastructure is a path to clean energy and controlling carbon, and all that good eco stuff -- but it's also a path to gritty, real jobs for the heartland. Wind turbines look pretty, but building them is like building cars. We can do that -- and we need to do that because we have to get back to an economy that makes stuff and that is based on real things and that rewards companies that move us forward.
