this week from worldnetdaily, one of the few remaining places birthers can call a home:
why i care about obama eligibility issue
david kupelian
april 20, 2009
with the entire so-called "mainstream press" ridiculing those millions of americans who still ask questions about barack obama's yet-unproven constitutional eligibility to serve as president, you might wonder why worldnetdaily and whistleblower persist, virtually alone in the major media, to cover this issue.
we'll skip the (yawn) rote list of thrice-debunked certifigate talking points and cut to the chase ...
... if we abandon the requirements for president specified by the constitution -- which millions of brave young americans have fought, bled and died to protect -- then we are no longer a constitutional republic of citizen sovereigns. we become just another rudderless, hell-bent nation ruled by selfish, ambitious, sinful -- and sometimes sociopathic -- men and women. nothing special. our former national blessing from god just a sad memory.
call me crazy, but the screeching histrionics of the right is like music to my ears. and of all the screeching to be had since the election, none has been more melodious than the screeching of birthers, especially their screeching about their own irrelevance:
although i've heard explanation after explanation as to why there's a TOTAL CONSERVATIVE BLACKOUT of this topic, i still am not satisfied with their reasoning.
just why in the hell are rush, hannity, beck, coulter, malkin, FoxNews, DrudgeReport, (and you fill in the blank) REFUSING TO DISCUSS THIS? what's in it for them? what in the hell are they afraid of? it's a total BLACKOUT. incomprehensible that not even ONE OF THEM HAS TOUCHED THIS TOPIC. this is disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!
the guy is a muslim, kenyan born, illegal alien, doesn't even have a selective service number, is commander-in-chief of our armed forces, is sitting in the white house, bowing to our enemies, making a fool out of our constitution, trashing our country, and on and on and on.
and NOT ONE WORD FROM ANYONE THAT WE'VE BEEN RELYING ON ALL THESE YEARS . . . ONLY FREEREPUBLIC.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????????
but doesn't it seem strange that such a hot issue (hotter than clinton's semen stain on lewinsky) has been ignored by ALMOST EVERYONE ON OUR SIDE????????
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????????
supernatural collusion between transphysical intelligences and the sons of men.
it's the only explanation that holds water. it is naturally impossible for something this obvious and vast to be so perfectly hidden by so many.
despite their unmatched analytical powers, birthers find themselves in a deep intellectual funk over the continued and unnatural silence of their favorite media superstars ...
i still do not understand why even conservatives say to
give it up, and that it makes us look crazy.
if only rush weren't such a wilting wallflower ... !
someone asked me the other day why rush doesn't talk on his show about the lack of eligibility proof. i told them that rush and several other conservative voices are shy about speaking out because they think the affirmative action fraud is just waiting for that so he can marginalize them all with a sudden 'release' of his birth certificate. BUT, what rush and the other conservatives fail to acknowledge is that unless conservative voices speak out for the upholding of the constitutional requirements, the democrap party and their racist pricks will abrogate the Constitutional contract by ignoring it, removing the sovereignty of We The People in the process. and we are seeing exactly that!
unfortunately for most birthers, just knowing the truth is just not enough:
we all KNOW obama was born in kenya. i am just sickened at how the MSM has gone above and beyond to cover it up.
and what's even more mind-numbing is that many of the republicans didn't have the BALLS to challenge him on the issue. hawaii gov. linda lingle is an example. she had an opportunity to do a great service for our country and help prove that obama's "birth certificate" was a fake, but she was the RINO she is and blocked all access to it.
all this capitulation can't be good for anyone's blood pressure -- anyone who's not an obamabot, that is!
what i am appalled at is the T-O-T-A-L silence on the part of the following:
1) rush
2) hannity
3) levin
4) coulter
5) malkin
6) fox-news
7) glen beck
8) supreme court
not even a peep . . . makes no sense . . . why the blackout with the above conservatives? not a word. do they know something we don't, or do they think they'd REALLY lose their credibility if they brought it up? they've brought up everything else about this jacka$$, so why not this?
i don't get it.
few things made the unpleasant bush years so characteristically unpleasant than the wingnut wurlitzer, which helped enable the looniest of right-wing loons, from strangelovian neocons michael "faster, please" ledeen and "william the bloody" kristol to doomsaying theocons pat robertson and jerry falwell to muckraking plutocons rupert murdoch and richard mellon scaife. the noise machine provided a reassuring red teat for the densest of dittoheads, no matter how infantile their misconceptions, and well-funded wingnut welfare spawned numberless well-dressed zombie spokespeople from numberless impressive-sounding organizations, like the american enterprise institute and the heritage foundation, to validate their nonsense, and at the top of this red-meat-only food chain sat their chickenhawk "decider", whose cheerleading sent their self-righteousness and sense of entitlement to heights not attained since movement uberlord rush limbaugh's last heavenly hit of oxycontin.
ah, the bush years: what a glorious time to be a selfish belligerent idiot.
but alas, no longer. at the dawn of a new and somewhat saner political era, half-sunk in the rubble of the worldwide catastrophe it brought upon itself, the mighty wurlitzer nonetheless chugs mindlessly on, but bereft of the charm it borrowed from the erstwhile "permanent republican majority", who had themselves borrowed it from the last gang of sharp-dressed übermensch promising to harangue us for a thousand years. but never have its minions been quite so reviled nor its quarry quite so welcome in quite far less time.
perhaps the wurlizter's discovering in the age of obama that it can't keep all its babies fed, or at the very least, acknowledge the existence of a crack-addled few. one would think amidst the all the tea-bagging and the 912 project the birthers could get let out of the closet just one time for a little bit o' love. whatever the reason, the birthers, exiled from "polite" discourse, now shamble homeless and shellshocked, garments rent, knickers knotted in anguish, their triple-mortgaged-and-foreclosed respectability running like five-and-dime mascara as they search desperately for a rose-tinted lily-white conservative welcome mat to whatever warm and well-stocked echo chambers doom bunkers they can find. to be treated as a red-headed step-bastard by the likes of hannity and beck is the rejection of the mad by the mad and few things are more deliciously cruel.
for two full years birthers have struggled mightily to get the kind of teabag-worthy full court press coverage they could enjoy if and only if the noise machine wanted their demands on headlines and tv sets across the nation. instead, they're forced to share shelf space with bat-boy, subsisting on the occasional crumbs dropped by a tabloid like the globe and the formerly-reviled commie mouthpieces pravda and rzeczpospolita. wouldn't dear daddy reagan be so proud?
yes, the jelly on this warm slice of schadenfreude is the traitorous, vocal and unequivocal repudiation of the crazies by the same fire-breathers that continue to cruelly and cynically stoke their lunacy with ever-expanding nightmares of manchurian muslims, black liberation revolutionaries and socialist fifth columnists. oh lords of wingnuttia, they weep, why hast thou forsaken us?
sean hannity, fox news:
now, the only thing, i don't know about the comment about god. but -- and he is an american, as far as we know, in spite of that birth certificate controversy, but we believe he is. so we've got to put those issues aside.
michelle malkin, national review:
i believe trig was born to sarah palin. i believe barack obama was born in hawaii on u.s. soil. i believe fire can melt steel and that bin laden's jihadi crew -- not bush and cheney -- perpetrated mass murder on 9/11. what kind of kooky conspiracist does that make me?
michael medved, syndicated critic and radio host:
crazy, nutburger, demagogue, money-hungry, exploitative, irresponsible, filthy conservative imposters ...
the worst enemy of the conservative movement.
it makes us look weird. it makes us look crazy. it makes us look demented. it makes us look sick, troubled, and not suitable for civilized company.
i'm not a conspiracist, but this could be a very big conspiracy to make conservatives disgrace themselves
charles johnson, little green footballs:
any posted spinoff links that try to promote the "obama birth certificate" nonsense will be deleted. if you insist on continuing to post such links, i'll block your account.
enough is more than enough. this lunacy is embarrassing and sad, and i won't allow LGF to be used to promote it.
david horowitz, campus demagogue and scalphunter:
shut up about the birth certificate.
embarrassing and destructive ... zealots ...
it is not conservatism; it is sore loserism and quite radical in its intent. respect for election results is one of the most durable bulwarks of our unity as a nation. conservatives need to accept the fact that we lost the election, and get over it
ed morrisey, hot air:
none of it -- absolutely none -- has any real, solid evidence showing that obama was born anywhere else than hawaii apart from sheer speculation and hearsay
tom fitton, conservative legal activist and head of judicial watch:
[i haven't] seen any credible evidence barack obama is not a u.s. citizen eligible for the presidency.
if people understood better what the law is, i don't think they'd be as concerned as they are
even the birthers' precious worldnetdaily, while it shamelessly flogs this nontroversy, begrudgingly admits:
a separate WND investigation into obama's birth certificate utilizing forgery experts also found the document to be authentic.
and what say rush limbaugh, bill o'reilly, ann coulter, matt drudge, bill kristol, brit hume, chris wallace, pat buchanan, charles krauthammer, fred barnes, fred hiatt, george bush, karl rove, john mccain, john boehner, mitch mcconnell, newt gingrich, eric cantor, michael steele, and the rest of the usual culprits ... ???
