I just read something that made my blood boil...
From David Broder's most recent column:
The memos on torture represented a deliberate, and internally well-debated, policy decision, made in the proper places -- the White House, the intelligence agencies and the Justice Department -- by the proper officials.
I'm sitting here not able to go to sleep because my son - on his 4th deployment since 2002 - is being moved to a more dangerous location for the remainder of his tour. I don't know where and if or when he'll be able to contact us.
In the meantime, I get to wonder if something happens to him or any one of our dedicated military that may cause someone to think, "well, America tortures - all bets are off!", I may go totally insane.
Broder - either you are completely demented, senile, or just plain stupid - STFU!
