I just got word from Mikey Weinstein from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation that a "fatwah" has been issued against him - by a Christian minister.  I'm sending what he sent to me but I checked with him first before I got hold of you because I didn't want to put him in any further danger.

There's not any doubt that this guy is asking for a hit to be placed on Mikey, Rev. Lynn and their families. The FBI and other police agencies have already been informed. It sickens me to hear a man who claims to be of G-d suggest the murder of people like something out of the Godfather.  "I would be indebted to anyone who would rid me of this problem." and then when people are killed they can claim they had no responsibility.

Research the situation and then help shine the light on this rat.

(and Air Force Academy graduate) Gordon Klingenschmitt pray that Mikey Weinstein's and Rev. Barry Lynn's "days be few."

CHRISTIAN "IMPRECATORY" PRAYER AGAINST MIKEY WEINSTEIN AND REV. BARRY LYNN!

"One-Minute Prayer: Let us pray. Almighty God, today we pray imprecatory prayers from Psalm 109 against the enemies of religious liberty, including Barry Lynn and Mikey Weinstein, who issued press releases this week attacking me personally. God, do not remain silent, for wicked men surround us and tell lies about us. We bless them, but they curse us. Therefore find them guilty, not me. Let their days be few, and replace them with Godly people. Plunder their fields, and seize their assets. Cut off their descendants, and remember their sins, in Jesus’ name. Amen."

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
