We had no hope here in IN, we knocked till we dropped. We never had any clue that we would be "imp" in the primary let alone the gen'l.
It's ridiculous.Barack has sixty votes now? You're joking.
You've never lived in Indiana. You don't understand. All you blue-staters don't have a clue.
I'm sorry - I don't mean to berate anyone, but ... we had no idea.
I have to go to work tomorrow, and deal w/ whatever.
Just remember ... the last time Indiana was won by a Dem. from north of the Mason-Dixon line was 1936. (LBJ won Indiana, but he was a Texan.)
We have SIXTY VOTES now. It's unbelievable.
Let me say ... on behalf of us older folks who worked our tails off: we absolutely NEVER EXPECTED VICTORY.
We just did it because we knew it was the decent thing to do. We live in IN, we expect progressives to be clobbered, we anticipated that there was NO WAY IN TARNATION that the State of Indiana would be won by a Democrat from No. of the Mason-Dixon line (let alone an African-American).
It seems that PRESIDENT Barack Obama is our ... um, President. And moreover, that he has a fillibuster-proof maj. in the U.S. Senate.
This is so unreal. It can't have happened. Anyway, I guess blue states have helped us. (Begrudging approval of blue states LOL).
Is there anyone from NC who would like to comment? NC is a tough state, just like IN. We have a lot of work to do. We also have some common RFDs/DFs (smiling at Bess, and others).
This is just such a ***delightful moment.**
Many of the younger folks thought we were going to win Indiana on election night.
Everyone who knew the score was crying. It was unreal. I can never forget that moment, when we KNEW. (Lake, Porter, St. Joe, Marion were out. We KNEW we'd win Indiana. OMG.)
SIXTY VOTES?? Are you f**g kidding me?? :D
Good job, everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.: You got an old box of Philly speeches? Can I knock w/ 'em LMAO.
