It’s Monday night! Do you know where your union diaries are?
You know the rules by now, the diaries are posted below the fold, and if you want to be rescued, please post a pro-union diary that has less than 100 comments, has the word "union" in the tag (I’ve been asked to look for diaries that have tag words like "labor". I have, but please for the sake of my sanity put "union" in the tag. There’s only so many hours in the day!), and must not have been rescued by any front page diary rescue or made the rec list.
In the meantime, enjoy this fun pro-union vid:
Only two diaries up tonight. Fortunately it’s not because of a shortage of pro-union diaries being written. It’s because most of the diaries written between now and last Thursday have been either rescued or made the rec list. I’m glad that we’re seeing more pro-union diaries getting noticed. That’s the goal of the LDR, and I’m glad to see it happening.
National Nurses Movement has an action diary titled Florence Nightingale Day Protests Target Baucus, Health Insurers Tuesday. If you’re going to be in Washington DC tomorrow, please attend the protest for public health insurance.
Union Review writes about Wage Theft in America. It’s an excellent read about companies refusing to abide by wage and overtime laws.
That’s it, guys. Treat the comments as an open thread.
