The Senator voted this evening on a bill to limit credit card interest rates. I am sickened to see that the following "Democratic Party" Senators voted against a limit on interest rates.
It is clear that these Senators are the property of the credit card companies. I'll do all I can to see that they aren't re-elected. They clearly don't represent the people who voted for them.
It should be a simple matter to start to look up and see who their contnributors are.
This doesn't bode well for any reform in medical care either.
Update: It appears that Sanders was able to make fools of the Democrats. His amendment limited interest rates to 15%, which is too low. I think 18-20% is a more reasonable value. Now we have a whole bunch of democrats who were forced into voting against this bill. I still have no sympathy for these democrats; if they were on the ball, they would have limited interest rates on their own, to a reasonable value. This is very stupid on the part of democrats, and shows a lack of leadership. It was obvious to all that an interest rate cap was required, but no democrat would step up and do what was required. Now they all look like fools.
