A noted liberal hawk makes Dick Cheney's treason pretty damn clear.

The Ohio blogger who brought us the now world famous McCain Palin Mob videois Tim Russo, a known Dem hawk.  Lately, he's taken his camera to Teabaggers like a dog on raw meat.

Tim hasn't been writing much about the torture stuff, but Dick Cheney has finally got him angry, and when Tim's angry about something, watch out!

Today, Tim wrote a tour de force up and down Dick Cheney's backside.  To quote it in part cannot really do it justice, but here's the FIRST money quote.

Cheney claims he could never have foreseen 9/11, while simultaneously claiming to foresee the next one with perfect clarity.  Cheney claims only his torture policy can save it from happening, while simultaneously claiming he did not create that torture policy.  Cheney claims the release of torture photos will hurt American soldiers, while denying the torture ever happened and claiming previous such photos created by his fiat never hurt American soldiers.  Cheney claims that investigating the torture will be damaging to the country while he now wants to include Nancy Pelosi in the same investigation.  Cheney argues his political party need not change while he chooses the brainless and largely despised corpulent radio thug Rush Limbaugh over a unanimously revered military hero Colin Powell, who served in Vietnam while Cheney himself did every single thing he could to avoid that service.

This is a psychosis.

Cheney’s illness leaps to treason at the point where he literally wishes for such a terrorist attack on US soil, for the sole purpose of returning himself and his political party to a position of power.  Of all the crazy things I’ve ever heard from the anti-war left, regularly accused of treason by Cheney and his allies, nothing from the anti-war left has ever approached this level of shame.  I suspect if you asked Cheney himself if this was his goal, he would admit it.

And the second...

Cheney ignores the central fact, as his psychosis always demands the rejection of fact, that we had an election.  In that election, this dementia was rejected in favor of change, and not just any change.  We not only went to a Democrat for leadership.  We not only went to a liberal Democrat for leadership.  We went to a liberal Democrat who is black, whose blackness enraged Cheney and his ilk to the point they told us he was so fully the manifestation of every enemy of America as to be a satan.

We ignored that, and we doubled down on change.  And hovering at 70% approval of our decision ever since, we’re gonna let that shit ride.  We are all in, baby.

And the third...

And when the day Dick Cheney prays for does arrive, and more Americans die at the hands of terrorists Cheney prays to succeed, America will again turn to their president, just as they turned to George W. Bush.  This country will unite even further behind Barack Obama, and Dick Cheney’s final psychotic gamble will carve into his headstone, slow and deliberate, the title which eternity will never forget.

Here Lies Richard Cheney - Traitor.

I'm starting to think the GOP could completely destroy itself if they try to say "I told you so" when and if the next attack comes.  If someone doesn't stand up and reject Cheney with authority, they are creating such a trap for themselves...anyway, enjoy!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
