Once again the Burmese junta have found the excuse of jailing Aung San Suu Kyi this time thanks to an American.
John William Yettaw a Vietnam vet and mormon swam across the lake to her home, he was uninvited yet was allowed to stay because his mile long swim had exhausted him. Was he used by the Junta?
His intentions may have been good, there seems to be some indication that he is an activist yet the results are appalling. The law states that no foreigner can stay overnight in a Burmese house. As an activist he should have known this.
Aung San Suu Kyi has been locked up in Insein Prison well known for its torture and pitiable conditions. She is so frail that this could be just too much for her health.
She was meant to be freed from house arrest at the end of this month. This is dire news as this will permit the junta to prolong this arrest further and may even use it to justify her detention for a long period in Prison.
The International community must gather round and push for her release, have such wanton misuse of the law retracted and free her from house arrest. As was the case with Roxana Saberi pressure can change the minds of oppressive regimes.
Write to the State Dept and your congressional representatives.
Time line

Not sure who she is? Here is her Nobel link.
