Maybe...............pass the potato salad please.
(Likely sockpuppet, but definitely (I'm sorry) a Republican asks Kossacks for a little slack if he admits on Memorial Day Weekend that the "The War" was a big, tragic mistake. The Mighty Quinn's a s.i.m.p.le. office cleaner by profession, that's right- office cleaner, Oy Vey, but the diary is also penned by a minority candidate for N.J. Gov. this year and I'll be a hiccup on the radar screen, no matter how much sense I make concerning Mexico, corruption and missed opportunities: the inspiration for my other diaries, and a reason perhaps to stretch the rules for me here; pitty. In any case, I'll always be looking for one reporter to accompany me to Mexico and meet a friend who stayed in our home for 5 years. We’ve got a lot to share, and I got the chops to call that wicked government out. Failing that, I’ll continue to make dumb runs for political office.
And speaking of a more pressing issue to fellow citizens here at home, what about Single Payer Health Insurance, because I need to broaden my appeal beyond Mexico, undocumented aliens, drivers licenses and amnesty.
We're on to something here, so please before any sidetracked sticklers out there faint, and before I get on with this diary, consider looking at sock..I can't say the word again- and underdogs this way. What if it was fact, that last year, during his campaign, the future President was blogging in the Daily Kos in his spare time as Barrack Obama, and as Eliot Ness? You'd have all been delighted, if you knew. Shall I be denied the same flexibility; I'm running for a high elected office too? I ask for the same equal protection? I'm a janitor now but later on I might be a contender... Charlie.
Charlie, Charlie, Charlie..... but what's this got to do with "Does Torture Matter?"

My Diary at long last, but for how long? (Does Quinn the Eskimo matter)
I was listening to the Today show last week and the terrible update about the poor woman who had the front of her face ripped off by Travis the chimpanzee in Connecticut. Lost in the segment was the sad fact that this woman had no health insurance. Universal Health Insurance, sounds wonderful to those of us who have no insurance or stinko coverage...meanwhile inside the beltway, bunk like this sidetracks congress...

The top House Republican says Speaker Nancy Pelosi should provide evidence the CIA misled her about harsh interrogation techniques or apologize for her accusation.
Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio says he wants Pelosi to come clean on last week's accusations.
We don't get health insurance until we fix this other problem which lawmakers don't dare address properly either...
A.P. Oil rose to near $60 a barrel Tuesday as investors took heart from global stock market gains and more signs the U.S. recession is easing. Continued unrest in Nigeria's oil-rich south also supported prices.
Donald Rumsfeld's name resurfaced the other day...
This mixing of Crusades-like messaging with war imagery, which until now has not been revealed, had become routine. On March 31, a U.S. tank roared through the desert beneath a quote from Ephesians

Senate Guantanamo Bay Closure May 20, 2009 ... In a major rebuke to President Barack Obama, the Senate voted overwhelmingly on ... There was no suspense in the moments leading to the Senate vote, ... Even in voting to deny him the funds, Obama's Democratic allies ...
I might be worried about this Miami Herald headline from this week as well...because when the fence on our border is finally finished, (the US government having screwed up policy for 50 years), this character will have more undo influence..
Disloyalty is costly for Hugo Chávez backers.Hugo Chávez's revolution in Venezuela targets more than the president's enemies. Even supporters are punished when their loyalty comes into question.
And so no one forgets about the vast political mainstream, dangerous me included, who could be influenced, consider another snippet, this one from PBS’s Frontline on nuclear energy. If you googled nuclear energy....
Q: How significant was the decision by this country to not go the recycling route?
A: Well, I think that the importance of that decision cannot be underestimated. It was the decision that changed, for our country anyway, and then whatever our influence may be on the rest of the world, the orderly progression of nuclear energy for the future of our nation. All the factors were brought together in that decision by groups like the anti-technology people, the people who are seeking to use nuclear as a political platform, or anti-nuclearism, the arms control people and so on.
Ohberman, Hannity, all the bomb throwers, and my Memorial Day confession.
VAN SUSTEREN: Up next, more with Karl Rove. Rove uses the word "audacious" talking about General Colin Powell. What is Karl talking about? Well, that's next...... Rove (speaking)...And yet when push came to shove last fall, he endorsed Senator Obama, who didn't have the same opinions, ostensibly, as Secretary Powell and did so over his close personal friend, Senator McCain, who represents the kind of future of the Republican Party that Senator -- that Secretary Powell had talked about being hopeful would be realized.
Dumb Yokel who voted for Bush two times to Rove and Sustern. You're forgetting something? Mr. Powell warned his boss that we’d own Iraq if he(we) invaded. That's very convenient you forgot that (forgetful, that's something FOX and MSNBC do frequently). Senator McCain, along with us other dupes, Kerry, Clinton and Edwards....Richardson too, supported the war. Obama didn't, Powell didn't. Another Senator, aka, the king of earmarks did not.
What a confusing world, and we'll see how vulnerable the Iranians are to (international) sanctions next year when we go the negotiation route.
And may the Republican janitorial candidate end this, possibly deleted piece, by getting back to the health care issue again. A Republican a member of the house, a physician, offered nothing last week.
A Yokel candidate for Congress offered substance in a questionnaire from the first week in Sept. 08. The same person 200 signatures shy of being a candidate for Governor in 09; who'll run with no money but begs to keep his posts on this site so he can maybe piss off the insurance industry. Thank you.
Gary Stein-
I’m an Independent Republican for Universal Health Care, but for making it contingent on cutting other programs and reducing other government payroll. Always stressing bi-partisanship, which a vote for me signals. I’ve talked about the possibility of taking over the big three automakers health care in exchange for them significantly increasing their average corporate fuel economy. CAFÉ. Now we hear the presidential candidates floating financial aid to them to fund the next generation of energy efficient cars.
I led, my 2 or 3 fans will tell you.
Yokel candidate wonders what might have been if his first choice for Republican nomination for President in 2000, Senator Richard Lugar, had performed better. Perhaps we would have avoided the last 9 years of partisan bickering, saved 4000 thousand lives, and trillions of dollars. Money that would come in handy saving more lives down the tortured road towards Universal Health Care. Make it Single Payer Health Care!!!
