GAFFNEY: America's first Muslim president?
By Frank J. Gaffney Jr. |
Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Applying the standard of identity politics and pandering to a special interest that earned Mr. Clinton that distinction, Barack Hussein Obama would have to be considered America's first Muslim president.
This is not to say, necessarily, that Mr. Obama actually is a Muslim
The man now happy to have his Islamic-rooted middle name featured prominently has engaged in the most consequential bait-and-switch since Adolf Hitler duped Neville Chamberlain over Czechoslovakia at Munich.
What little we know about Mr. Obama's youth certainly suggests that he not only had a Kenyan father who was Muslim, but spent his early, formative years as one in Indonesia. As the president likes to say, "much has been made" -- in this case by him and his campaign handlers -- of the fact that he became a Christian as an adult in Chicago, under the now-notorious Pastor Jeremiah A. Wright.
I don't know which is worse, seeing this piece of slug excreta in human form on TV or having to read his latest insane screed in the Washington Times. I think it's a tossup....Or a throw-up. But today he has really outdone himself when it comes to racism, hate-mongering, and slander.
He has gone for the bleachers this time around. Not only does he question Obama's true faith (Christian) but by insinuating that he is, at heart a Muslim, in Gaffney's psychotic mind that makes the President of the United States an "Islamo-terrorist"." Ipso-fatso", as Archie Bunker used to say. But at least Archie was sincere in his bigotry. Gaffney's is only play for pay bigotry.
And just for good measure he also unequivocally states that Barack Obama is the political equal to Adolph Hitler. Wow! I don't know which terrifies me more. That scum like Gaffney can make a living out of spewing this garbage or the fact that their are vast numbers of my fellow citizens who hear or read this crap and give a great big "Amen".
Frank Gaffney is the living breathing personification of all the evil bile that flows through the heart of today's Republican party. I hope it does collapse. I hope they nominate either Gingrich, or Palin, or Huckabee in 2012 so I can be there when it breathes its last breath. The second party in a two party democracy should not be a party of hate, bigotry, lies, and deception. Time to pull the plug.
