We all have spelling problems. We all have embarrassing, humiliating typos (especially myself). We all can make ourselves look naked by not spell checking what we wrote.
If all of those things apply to you, please raise one of your hands right now.
But having a banner at a big event you are speaking at be misspelled while trying to condemn someone's struggles with English may not apply to you.
It applies to Pat Buchanan though.
In possibly the "HAHAHAHAHAHA" of the week already, Buchanan hosted a conference this weekend about how Republicans can regain power in this country. At one point during the conference, panelists suggested English only initiatives in order to get white working class Dems on their side again. That discussion prompted criticism and making fun of Sonia Sotomayor struggling to be the quality writer that she is today in college.
But unbeknownst to Buchanan (I'm really giving him the benefit of the doubt here), take a look at what the banner of the event was:
C-O-N-F-E-R-E-N-E-C-E
Nonnie999 and Sam Loomis couldn't do a better job photoshopping this. The irony of it all.
