For someone who lost a relative in a tragic circumstance, she should know that sometime showing a little bit respect for someone death doesn't hurt. Yesterday she spent her time trashing a dead mam (his body was even not that cold yet), even KO sounds a little bit unconfortable. Today, she strikes again. First on the Today show, she spewed her venom with no decency.
I don't care if you like or hate Michael Jackson, but as a human being, I respect life and death. You can't just dance when someone you hate just died. Sometimes, showing some decency doesn't hurt. While maybe her husband was one of the most respected journalist in the US, I can't say that his widow, Maureen Orth, deserves my respect after her behavior since MJ's death broke. She seems like someone who enjoys the death of that man. Yes, Michael Jackson was a weird man for some of us, but we can't just forget the fact he was found not guilty in his trial. We can't forget the fact that Larry King gave the proof that the family's children were con artist. I don't care if MJ was guilty or not, the justice system said he wasn't, end of story.
Maureen Orth is a sad and bitter human being. On morning Joe, she stated that MJ was a weird person even in private (while every persons closed to him said the opposite). She wasn't even in MJ's inner circle, so who is she to talk about the person in private. She even went far as to insinuate that MJ wanted to use his "death" for his legacy. Really ? Doesn't she have some feelings for his family and kids and friends ? I wonder how she will feel if someone claimed that Tim Russert's heartacttack was for publicity ? Thank God,John Ridley called her out. You can see on Willy Geist face that he was stunned by her bitterness but couldn't reply because she is Russert's widow. Jeffrey Toobin on CNN is just close behind her in this silliness. Toobin just can't stop bring up the trial and how he thinks MJ was somehow guilty. Money can buy every but can't buy class.
R.I.P Michael Jackson
