So, after I mailed off the brief to the federal case, I went to walk around Sag Harbor to sell some books. I stopped into an artist’s studio on a side street and met the sculptor Nathan Slate Joseph: http://www.artnet.com/...

We traded a framed print of his work for a book of mine. He’s so cool--a real artist, with a sharp mind, totally open to truth and ideas. His wife is having a show here in Sag Harbor on Friday night and he invited me, so I’m excited to go to that. Lots of other photos, and I apologize, but some photos are oversized. Will adjust photos for next diary accordingly. Hope you enjoy.

This is a girl who I traded a book for a haircut. She rode up on her bike there at the Sag Harbor wharf. She cut my hair, and then a dad with a family, on vacation, asked if she'd do his hair too.
Mural under bridge.
Sunset.
Then a school of fish showed up, chasing another school of fish. I had hoped to get some of the fish out of the water, but didn't. There were some pretty big fish out of the water in all that commotion.
