I have seen many great ideas here for getting out the vote for larger elections, but I was hoping for some ideas for a township supervisor election.
I am helping a Democrat try the win one of five seats for supervisor in a suburban Philadelphia township. It is an off year, and I was wondering if anyone had some advice based on tactics that may have worked in their local communities.
Both candidates are new. Our candidate has an advantage in being a proven community leader. The Republican will be hitting on the usual issue of cutting taxes, which may resonate more than usual in this tough economy.
