As you may have heard, yesterday right wing talk show host Glenn Beck was pushed both to, and over, the edge by a caller on his radio show.
And while his high pitched screeching is certainly a joy for us liberals to listen to, it appears Glenn's outburst may end up costing Glenn something other than just embarrassment. And that's because Bill O'Reilly is suing Glenn for "Meltdown Infringement".
We all, of course, remember Bill O's famous meltdown. Apparently, Mr. O'Reilly copyrighted said meltdown, and is now seeking unspecified damages from Mr. Beck.
But, Bill O being Bill O, couldn't leave it merely to the lawyers, and chose to confront Glenn on Glenn's television show. Take a look.
Lawyers I've spoken to say that Glenn may have a defense, as his meltdown would likely be classified as a "Crazy Meltdown" instead of an "Asshole Meltdown". However, O'Reilly claims that in the moments leading up to the snapping of Glenn's fragile mind, Glenn was clearly being an asshole, so O'Reilly's copyright would apply.
Barring a settlement, it looks like this will be headed to the courts to be judged by a jury of their peers. Here's hoping they can find twelve crazy assholes to sit in judgment.
