Watch Webcast of IDSA Hearing.
From the CALDA website:
In an unprecedented action, the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) is being forced to review its controversial Lyme treatment guidelines. The implications are huge, not just for Lyme disease but for other diseases as well.
It’s all part of the Connecticut Attorney General’s investigation into the IDSA, which found the Lyme guidelines panel had financial conflicts of interest, excluded opposing points of view, and suppressed scientific evidence.
The AG’s settlement requires the IDSA to form a new panel without conflicts of interest, to hear testimony from assorted points of view, and to stream those proceedings live over the internet.
Definitely worth watching -
UnderOurSkin is Tweeting on the testimony and CALDA has interactive blogging here
on the testimony.
My Lyme brain is having trouble multitasking, but feel free to use this as a liveblog...
