Latest poll on health care shows troubling lack of understanding on the part of the public-at-large regarding deficits...
According to the latest in a series of opinion polls on health care, this one from Quinnipiac, the right wing & insurance industry's tactic of scaring the American people with horror stories of sky-high deficits due to health care reform is working. The vast majority of those surveyed by Quinnipiac say they would disapprove of health reform if it adds significantly to the deficit... How depressing and infuriating.
Out of all of the talking points coming from POTUS, one that has stood out very clearly over the last few monthis is that changing the health care system is inextricably linked to taming our long-term deficits!!!
WHERE IS THE MASSIVE LIBERAL GRASSROOTS PUSHBACK AGAINST THE PROPAGANDA AND FEAR TACTICS! TIME FOR THE BEAST THAT TRIUMPHED IN NOVEMBER TO RISE AGAIN.
I know that there are many who are disappointed that there is no single-payer option on the table... but if we don't start pushing back NOW, there won't be any bill at all in the Fall.

62 - 32 percent in favor of giving people the option of a government insurance plan
61 - 36 percent for higher taxes on high income earners to pay for health care reform
60 - 32 percent in favor of insurance subsidies for individuals making up to $43,000 and families of four making up to $88,000
54 - 38 percent for requiring businesses to provide insurance or pay the government
