This is actually two weeks old, so it's just one for the oppo research files at this point. Still, it is a truly over-the-top statement which is represented by exactly one google hit right now, so I thought I'd save it from the memory hole.
Speaking of the coup in Honduras (on Fox, natch), Connie Mack said:

This is really scary stuff for me, living in Guatemala. I have no trouble at all crediting the possibility of a "ripple effect". The only difference is whether I view military coups d'etat as "positive".
Note that this has nothing at all to do with how one feels about Manuel Zelaya. You can view him as the worst thing since Stalin and still understand how chilling such a statement is.
